Together, we can make a difference and your support is essential in bringing my message to Sedona voters.  Running a campaign in Sedona is a major financial burden, especially for a candidate like me who has no “special interest” financial backing.

I would appreciate your financial support of my campaign.  Faced with the daunting task of raising $10,000 in order to viably compete with a well-funded, incumbent-dominated opposition, I am looking for assistance from community members who believe Sedona needs a change in governance. In these difficult economic times, a donation in any amount is more than welcome.  Please be sure to print and complete the form that contributors to any political campaign are required by Arizona law to complete and enclose it with you donation check.

As a Sedona City Councilor, I pledge to you that I will listen to the community and work in your behalf. I will strive to balance the city’s expenditures with its revenues and seek long-term strategies to keep Sedona financially sound. I will seek ways to enhance pedestrian safety along 89A in West Sedona through means other than continuous street lighting to protect our dark skies. I will work vigorously for a National Scenic Area (NSA) designation to protect the natural beauty that surrounds us from development.  It is good for business and good for the environment. The two incumbents running for re-election are opposed to an NSA designation and support installing two miles of continuous street lighting in West Sedona. They have chosen to ignore the desires and needs of our community.

When mail-in ballots are delivered in mid-February, you will have the opportunity to choose between decidedly different visions for Sedona. I am running independently and I need your help. Will you consider making a donation to my campaign to help Sedona get the open and responsive governance its citizens deserve?

This election is critically important for Sedona. It is a choice between an existing government that responds only to special interests or a new beginning that addresses the needs and wants of our entire community.
