This Perez guy is unbelievable. He is such a dreamer. Sanford you are the man. I agree, we need to build out Sedona as fast as possible before the green groups stop us. That way we can make enough money to retire comfortably and once we are built out no one else can move here. Right now, this City needs to scrap all these regulations on building and get on with the business of developing Sedona. I like the Anthem model, clean, everything looks nice, like a city should. The red rocks help us make money. Money is the power that drives the economy. That’s why I support Dan Surber. He understands this. He’s an architect and has a vested interest in seeing Sedoan built out as soon as possible. Scagnelli, Surber and Frey have my votes.

Here is something funny. How about we have the current Madame Majority Block leader in the minority. Now that would be poetic justice. “I have a dream”.
In the Minority

How about we have the City Council Minority Leader drive a Jeep one day a week with the proceeds going to pay down the sewer debt. They could meet and talk to visitors about why they come to Sedona and how they would feel if we destroyed the beauty of Sedona.

What good is beauty when there is no one there to see it? Sedona is being sold to the highest bidder. Soon, there will be no one here left but those making money from land trades and other such endeavors…

Doesn’t anyone out there understand what’s really going on? The ADOT lighting is just a beginning. For at least the past 30 years the rumor has been that gambling is coming to Sedona. Poco Diablo (Radisson’s), Los Abrigados, and now the new and improved L’Auberge are allegedly all pre-wired. Once the USFS land is removed from the NSA designation, the open space between the Post Office and Soldier’s Pass Road will be acquired by the city, the “dip” part turned into a lake ala Hoover Dam in order to catch the runoff from Soldier’s Wash, and boating will be an added Sedona attraction. By then the sea of ADOT lights will pale in comparison to the “neons” of the future which will, indeed, benefit businesses on the redeveloped “Sedona Strip” gambling casino area. Voila! City financial woes cease to exist.

My oh my who is this Bonnie Blew? I think she “blew” off the cover of what our city fathers are really up to. Sedona, a piritual Las Vegas right here where the Red Rocks fly.
I mean, imagine what influence the vortexes will have on the Roulette wheel. And the psycics in town will make a killing because they will already know the cards before they are turned and which slot machines to sit at.

Hey!!!! Accosted Acosta!!! What’s that supposed to mean? Accosted by whom, pray tell? Humaliens? Hordes of angry mesomorphs? LOL

Hi Bonnie Blew. I can tell you are cute just by the way you turn your words and roll your phrases. You also have a sense of humor, not like that awful Eddie Madduck, the terror of Sedona. Keep writing. Sedona needs people like you to counter the venom the Madduck spews with her deadly pen and wit. BTW…Are you gay?
Don’t answer. Sigh… I already know.(:-> Kiss.

Welcome to Bipolarville. Man, you got to love the dialogue between Jeremiah and Sanford.These guys are brilliant. The clash of the left and right brain. This is classic Sedona.
The problem with the the council is that their job is to waste our money. Where is the fiscal responsibility and accountability. It is obvious that they cannot manage a revenue forecast and a budget. I can see the city residential property tax plan coming to cover their mismanaged decisions.Let’s fleece the residents because we can’t add and subtract.
Formulate a balanced budget plan and make it balance every week,month,quarter and year.
Please implement term limits on all council members. One term. That should help mitigate the damage from any individual contributor.This way elected officials can do what their campaign platform stated instead of worrying about getting re-elected.
Appoint Vs. elect, stop the crony-ism. All positions should be elected.Don’t you trust the citizens of Sedona to elect responsible members. Remember, they elected you!
Get real with the lights. It is a useless exercise and a cover your ass waste of money. Have you ever been to Phoenix? Lights everywhere. Someone gets hit by a car every night.
Advisory committees? Can’t you make decisions on your own? Need someone to explain it to you? Form an advisory committee. We elected you to have the balls to stand up and make informed decisions. Why don’t you go do it?
What a mix here in Bipolarville. Half the town is brilliant and half is crazy. Pass out the Ambilify.Is that in the budget?
